The Golstein Axle Load Indicator is a simple system to signal axle load overloading. The system measures the bellows pressure or deflection both left and right, and converts this into axle load. When a preset value (e.g., 80% of the allowed axle load) is reached, the LED indicator changes from green to orange. As the maximum allowed axle load is reached, the LEDs change from orange to red. An optional, switchable buzzer can also be added for an additional sound signal.
