The Golstein Axle load Indicator is a simple system to signal axle overloading. The system measures the bellows pressure both left and right and convert this to an axle load. When a preset value (for example, 80% of the permitted axle load) is reached, the LED indicator changes from green to orange. As the maximum allowable axle load is reached, the LEDs change from orange to red. An additional acoustic signal can also be added with a switchable buzzer.
