Software Developer - Industrial automation
As a software developer, you contribute to software that automates industrial processes. You support the development team and act as first‑line support for software‑related questions and applications. You help develop, test and implement software solutions.
ROLE | You will work on tasks such as:
- Developing and adapting touchscreen applications with a user‑friendly interface
- Supporting the automation of weighing and logistics processes
- Integrations with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR)
- Connections with ERP systems
- Controlling barriers, access control and peripheral equipment
- Testing, configuring and supporting system commissioning
You contribute to practical solutions that are used directly at customer sites.

For this role, we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in programming and technology. Many companies require a specific degree — at RDS, that’s not necessary. If you learned to program through a hobby, self‑study or personal passion, we value that just as much.
