Sales Representative  | Weighbridges & Software

As a Sales Representative, you are the face of our weighbridge department. You build relationships with customers across various sectors and advise them on complete solutions: from robust weighbridges to smart software for automation, access control and logistical management. You represent an established SME with strong technical expertise, and you are given the space to further develop this product line.

ROLE | Your responsibilities include:

  • Actively managing and expanding a customer portfolio in industry, recycling, logistics and production
  • Advising customers on weighbridges, peripheral equipment, access control, ANPR integrations and software solutions
  • Following up on leads, visiting customers and developing technical and commercial proposals
  • Coordinating with our technical teams on quotations, configurations and project follow-up
  • Identifying customer needs and translating them into concrete solutions
  • Representing RDS at trade fairs, events and demonstrations
  • Helping shape the commercial strategy for the weighbridge department 

PROFILE | Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technical or industrial environment. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should feel at home in a world of hardware, software and automation.

  • Strong communication skills with both business owners and technical profiles

  • Interest in industrial processes, weighing systems and automation

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your customers and projects

  • Strong commercial skills with a focus on long-term relationships

  • Ability to think along with customers and explain technical solutions clearly

  • A proactive, professional and customer-oriented mindset

Experience in weighing technology or industrial automation is a plus, but not a requirement — motivation and insight are just as important.
