Positioning of containers

Straddle carriers are essential for moving containers, for example, for Ship-to-Shore cranes and trucks. Due to the high time pressure, optimal efficiency and safety are crucial. With a positioning system, the operator of a straddle carrier can position the containers optimally in the passage under the STS crane, allowing them to pick up the container in a straight line. Using two cameras on the left and right of the straddle carrier, the operator can precisely see if the containers are positioned correctly in the center. With the help of the positioning line on the monitor and the lines on the STS crane's leg, this can be done with great precision.
