Electrical technician

RDS Weighing & Safety is originally a Belgian company, and for several years now, we have also been operating in the Netherlands. RDS specializes in installing and maintaining camera systems and collision avoidance systems on mobile machines, from port cranes to tower cranes.

As an electrical technician, you will ensure that these systems are installed in the right places. This often involves working at great heights. You will drive a new Volkswagen Transporter from home to the job site, and all travel time will be compensated!

What to expect?

We offer a competitive salary (€2,500 - €4,000), dependent on experience, and ample opportunities for professional development through courses and training programs.

In addition, you can expect:

  • A (fully equipped) Volkswagen Transporter with the option for private use;
  • Payment for travel time from home to the job and back;
  • A company phone;
  • Overtime is compensated with time off in lieu and additionally, each overtime hour is paid at 50% above normal salary;
  • Varied and challenging work.

And importantly, we do not have on-call duties! Work hours are strictly weekdays and during daytime.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for someone with a strong affinity for electrical engineering who thrives in challenging situations. As an electrical technician, you are confident and adept at interacting with customers.

Additionally, we require that you:

  • Can think critically and solve problems effectively;
  • Have basic knowledge of electrical engineering;
  • Enjoy driving extensively alongside your primary duties;
  • Are not afraid of heights.
